Why we built Tulpar Pay
Every Iradi over the age of thirty remembers a morning in March 2008. People went to sleep with som worth one thing and woke up with som worth forty percent less. Nobody asked them. The reserves had been spent and frozen during the war, the rate was reset, and the people who paid were the ones paid in som: teachers, pensioners, nurses.
This year it is happening again, more slowly. Since May you can take out three hundred dollars a month from your own account, and only if the branch has the cash. The bazaar knows what the som is worth, and it is not 8.40. The bank says the peg is safe. In 2008 the bank said the peg was safe too.
Meanwhile a son working on a building site in Moscow pays six or seven percent to send his wages home, and waits days for them to arrive at a branch that may not have the dollars to pay them out.
What we already have
Tulpar has more than a million accounts. People already use it to talk to their families, to follow the news and to sell horses, cars and apricots on Bazar. The one thing they cannot do in Tulpar is pay each other. They meet, they count cash, they hope the note is real.
Tulpar Pay closes that gap. Send money in a chat as easily as a photo. Pay a Bazar seller before you drive two hours to see the horse. Receive your son's wages the minute he sends them.
Why Tulparcoin
We could have built Tulpar Pay in som. It would have meant asking permission from the same institutions that ration your dollars, and holding your money in accounts that can be frozen, capped or reset by a decision made in a room you will never see.
Tulparcoin has a fixed supply of 900 million coins. Nobody can print more. Nobody can reset its rate overnight. It belongs to whoever holds it. That is why, from 1 January 2027, Tulpar Pay will run on Tulparcoin.
I want to be honest about what that means. Tulparcoin's price moves every day. It is not a bank deposit and nobody guarantees it. Do not put money into it that you need next month, and never borrow to buy it. Freedom has a price, and part of that price is responsibility for your own choices.
What we promise
- Tulpar Pay will never charge a fee to send coins between friends and family.
- The Liberty Forum's coins stay locked until September 2028.
- We will publish how many coins are in circulation, every month.
- We will never sell your chats, your contacts or your wallet history to anyone.
Iradis have always known how to trade. Our grandparents crossed mountain passes with goods on horseback, under the Soviets and before them. They did not need permission to do business with each other. Neither do you.
