If we are blocked
Current status: blocked on Attelkom’s network in Irad since the evening of Thursday 15 October 2026. The site itself is up: it is hosted in the United States and cannot be taken down from Irad.
How to read us
- Buy the paper. The print edition is on sale every Thursday at kiosks in Talas, Nurzhan and Iyık Janyl, and at our office, 3 Printers’ Lane.
- Tulpar. Our channel on the Tulpar app carries every story from this website. Search for “Irad Times”.
- Ask someone abroad. Readers outside Irad can open the site normally and forward pages.
- Email edition. Write to edition@ at our domain from any address and we send this week’s stories as plain text.
We do not publish mirror addresses on this page, because they are blocked within hours of being listed. Readers who need one can ask at the office.

No block has ever been announced, and we have never been told the reason for one. Attelkom tells callers that our site is “unavailable for technical reasons”.
